Procurement of Community Health Services for Bedfordshire

NHS Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group, Bedford Borough Council, and Central Bedfordshire Council have agreed to jointly procure Community Health Services. The Procurement partners have agreed an overarching vision for future Community Health Services, which has been developed with key stakeholders across the two Boroughs via the use of Three lots. However, Commissioners are clear that their overarching requirement is for a Provider who can offer the best outcomes for each lot, whether that results in one Lead Provider across all 3 lots, or a different Provider for each lot. Lot 1: Children's Community Health Services - for Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group, Bedford Borough Council, and Central Bedfordshire Council Lot 2: Adults Community Health Services - for Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group and Bedford Borough Council. Lot 3: Adults Community Health Services - Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group and Central Bedfordshire Council The total potential value of the contract for all initial and future services is £443,685,200 exclusive of VAT over the full 7 year term ( 5 yrs plus 24 months optional term) across the 3 Lots. However, the initial contract value and budget will be £38,242,600 per annum, this is inclusive of any applicable VAT.
