Tender description

ESB is requesting proposals from organisations capable of providing ESB Project Arrow with the full range of metering services for the GB Energy market, specifically MAP, MOP/MAM, DR/MRA, DC, DA services. Tenders are invited only from those companies capable of providing GB wide geographic coverage across both the Gas & Electricity markets. The service requirements apply to SMETS 2 smart, non-smart meters and IHDs (plus any other auxiliary equipment required for smart meter installations, e.g. gas regulators, regulator kits and flexes) the GB Energy Market. It is an absolute requirement that all meters provided comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and technical standards. Interested parties should note that this selection process is not governed by the provisions of Directive 2004/18/EC or Directive 2004/17/EC or Directive 2014/25/EU (or the Irish regulations transposing those Directives) and ESB does not intend to follow the procedures or rules set out in those Directives/Regulations in this selection process.
