Tender description

The Morpheus project has a requirement to establish a number of Authority managed Platform Installation and Fielding capabilities during the Evolve to Open (EvO) contract period and beyond. These capabilities will enable the conduct of platform surveys, platform installation design, BCIP to EvO First of Type (FOT) installation and preparation for fielding activities on behalf of the Authority against an Army Headquarters (AHQ) endorsed fielding strategy and plan. Morpheus PI Objectives The objectives of the Morpheus Platform Integrator procurement are to provide functions (and associated outputs) within the scope outlined below during the EvO D&D phases at the point in time at which the Authority requires them in order to: a) Support the delivery of the EvO Design and Development (EvO D&D) phases to Performance, Time and Cost (P, T & C). b) Inform the EVO system and product design by identifying platform specific constraints, opportunities for improved usability and maintainability and ensure minimal disruption throughout conversion. c) Develop platform installation designs for the installation and integration of the EvO System design and other associated upgrades (new radio fits) which are tested and verified through the Platform Installation design and Certification (ID&C) process, in a number (circa 10-15) of FOT platforms prior to Operational Field Trials (OFT). d) Develop platform installation designs (as above) for all Land, Maritime and Air Platforms which are to receive EvO and associated upgrades and as far as possible verify through the Platform ID&C process (approx. 70 — 100 Land, 10 Maritime & 3 Air) prior to the end of EvO D&D phase. e) Increase the authority's in-house levels of PI&F Knowledge, Skills and Experience (KSE) to inform future tasking required to support large scale OFTs and fielding. c.
