Tender description

Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) has taken the strategic decision to centralise the procurement and delivery of IT Connectivity Services. This includes voice circuits (telephony), broadband/internet and e-safety for all of its academies and head office. The supply for this lot includes the following: To provide, as a minimum, a like-for-like replacement of the existing voice circuits. Where required, to install new voice circuits, including all civil and building works. To maintain the existing telephone numbers. Note that this is not an exhaustive list. The services for this Lot includes the following: To provide, as a minimum, a like-for-like replacement of the existing data circuits, including speeds, bandwidth and contention ratios, whilst taking into account the potential for the trust to grow the services using the broadband service, e.g. remote backup. Where required, to install new data circuits, including all civil and building works. Note that this is not an exhaustive list. The service for this Lot includes the following: To provide firewall services and to provide content filtering services that meet the statutory guidance ‘keeping children safe in education’.
