Tender description

Allerdale Borough Council (“the Council") would like to appoint a Supplier to provide services for a signage and Interpretation project. The contract will comprise two phases; a research with reporting phase and an implementation phase. Through this project we aim to: • Raise awareness of the distinctive qualities of the Solway Wetlands, in particular the monastic heritage and lowland raised mires and inspire visits and exploration • Help visitors to find our sites, some of which are “well hidden” • Help visitors to link and explore across our sites both when planning a visit and spontaneously whilst visiting a site • Improve the visitor experience when visiting our sites providing better visitor orientation and interpretation Organisations are now being formally invited to meet this requirement and the purpose of this document is to provide the necessary information to enable Tenderers to submit a response.
