Tender description

It is proposed that a provision is put in place to deliver a service that includes the required social, welfare and family aspects of the Cymorth TB programme through mentoring, enabling and advocacy. This strand will be titled Cymorth TB Wellbeing and Support. Cymorth TB seeks to enable farmers and herd keepers who have suffered a TB breakdown and may be under cattle movement restrictions to survive as a business and to make the right decisions for themselves and their families, within the constraints of the Welsh Government TB Eradication Programme. The programme is split into 3 work-streams: 1. The Veterinary Programme. 2. The Support Programme. 3. The Partnership Programme. As part of work-stream 2, the Office of the Chief Veterinary Officer has developed a programme that will provide support, advice and signposting for individual farmers, their families and to some extent their businesses (though a separate strand considering business support is being developed).
