Yorkshire Coast Homes has historically completed a major Capital Improvement Programme of its stock to ensure compliance with the Decent Home Programme of 2010. As Yorkshire Coast Homes currently holds approximately 60% stock condition information, it is essential that the remaining 40% is sought as soon as possible to enable the organisation to accurately predict its short term investment obligations. Information derived from the survey will be used to assist in establishing the condition, valuation of the stock and to budget for future repair needs. Therefore, the survey results must be significantly robust to withstand scrutiny within the context of developing future options for managing the housing stock.
