Tender description

Why the Work is Being Done Work is two-fold. Firstly to ensure that organisations that are part of the wider Home Office Group are able to integrate into the HO and make use of corporate technology capabilities. Secondly to deliver local capability, that is often specific to the Business Area’s operational needs. Problem to Be Solved Deliver technology change in the Businesses , in a responsive way, through the use of skilled, experienced and qualified resources. Technology change can be enabling the shared access and implementation of corporate capability, and/or the delivery of local capability, specific to the local needs. The supplier will fulfil teams and specialists within the following disciplines at short notice: • Programme Management • Project Management • Technical Architect • Solution Architect • Business Architect • Business Analyst • Business Change • Project Operations • Programme and/or Project Planning • Business Consultant • Finance Manager • Project Support • Project Management Office Who Are the Users • HO CPFG Arm’s Length Bodies, including, but not limited to, GLAA, DBS, IPCC, HMIC, SIA; • HO CPFG-related Independent Enquiries; • HO CPFG-related work at the National Crime Agency • Small and low risk HO CPFG projects It should be noted that this tender includes both HO enabling projects for the four Business Areas categorised above, and delivery of local capability where appropriate. For other HO CPFG Arm’s Length Bodies, the scope includes HO enabling projects only. Delivery of local capability for HO CPFG ALBs is the responsibility of ALBs, and is excluded from the scope of this work. Early Market Engagement None Work Already Done None of note. Teams and specialists will be drawn down for specific emerging challenges. Existing Team None. Current Phase Not applicable Work Location Home Office London Sites: 2 Marsham Street, Croydon, Hendon. Potential for working on site of ALBs offices. Working Arrangments Statements of Work will have specific working arrangements and base locations included. Security Clearance All staff must hold or be prepared to undergo SC Security Clearance to operate on this project. Additional T&Cs Standard Terms Skills & Experience Access to skilled and experienced individuals, able to work with minimal supervision. Provide a facility to draw down quickly from the contract and provide skilled individuals with security clearance (generally SC). Able to deploy specialist team at speed. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Leadership across the full remit of Business areas covered by the scope of this bid Engagement across Business areas to understand the individual projects and work packages, including budgets, plans, creation of ROMs, and approval process etc Management and oversight of projects and/or work packages Experienced account management with proven experience of fulfilling roles in a security conscious public sector organisation. Provide resources based at locations across the UK Provide the full range of required resource roles at appropriate SFIA levels. Nice to Haves Experience of working in a challenging and complex public sector environment. Access to a range of additional resource. Experienced as a team; self-organised having an ability to work on their own initiative and without constant direction. No. of Suppliers to Evaluate 4 Proposal Criteria Engagement and approach Mobilisation (able to demonstrate resources can be landed within 1 week).
