The City of Edinburgh Council is exploring options including a Prime Contract approach for the delivery of the following scope of work: — The Design, Supply and Installation of circa 54 000 energy efficient Lanterns. — The Installation and commissioning of a Central Management System (CMS) for circa 64 000 Lanterns (including 10 000 retrofits). Please note, the Council will provide the CMS equipment for installation. — The Design, Supply and Installation of Steel Sleeves to circa 10 500 Concrete Lighting Columns. — The Removal and Disposal of a limited number (estimated quantity: 1 100) of existing lighting columns. — The Installation only of replacement lighting columns (est.1 100) (Columns provided by the City of Edinburgh Council). Energy Efficient Street Lighting Project.
