Tender description

The ISVA role was originally commissioned by the Home Office Violent Crime Unit in 2005. ISVAs offer practical support and advice to people who have experienced rape, sexual violence/abuse or sexual exploitation at any point in their lives. This would include supporting people to report a crime to the Police and throughout the criminal justice process but that is not a requirement to access the service. This service would work with adults living in the Hampshire County Council and Portsmouth City Council area except in exceptional circumstances as detailed in Section 5 Service Specification. ISVAs work with people who self referred or were referred by other agencies. If those individuals reported the crime to the Police, they would support the person throughout the journey through the criminal justice system which would include accompanying them to Crown Courts which could be in Portsmouth, Southampton or potentially Salisbury. This Invitation to Tender (ITT) has been prepared by Hampshire County Council (the ‘Council’) for the purposes of inviting proposals from Service Providers for the provision of the services described in the Service Specification attached as Appendix 4. This ITT: — Sets out the overall timetable and process for the procurement. — Provides Tenderers with information to enable them to submit a compliant Tender (including providing templates where relevant). — Sets out the Selection and Award criteria and the Tender Evaluation Model that will be used to evaluate Tenders. — Explains the administrative arrangements for the submission and receipt of tenders.
