SE1954: Temporary Domestics & Portering Agency Tender

Tender description

The Essex Success Regime is currently one of three such programmes in the country. It is overseen jointly by a tripartite of national organisations – NHS England, NHS Trust Development Authority and Monitor, which looks after NHS Foundation Trusts. The other two Success Regimes are in Devon and Cumbria. The Success Regime is part of the NHS Five Year Forward View, which is a blueprint for the NHS to take decisive steps to secure high quality, joined-up care. It sets out the challenges facing health and care nationally and how radical change is needed to sustain services into the future and improve care for patients. This Tender will be used by the partner trust s ( Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital Trust and Mid Essex Hospital) collectively called ‘The Trusts’, to fill gaps in domestic and portering service provision at weekends, bank holidays, day weekday day & late shift. The Requirement The Trusts are seeking to procure a new South East Essex multi-NHS trust restricted tender for the supply of agency domestics and portering staff to seek to secure greater value for money and access to a sufficient resource, when sourcing temporary domestic and portering staff. The 3 plus 1 year contract will be used by the partner trusts ( Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital Trust and Mid Essex Hospital) collectively called ‘The Trusts’, to fill gaps in domestic and portering service provision at weekends, bank holidays, day weekday day & late shift.
