Tender description

Leicestershire County Council and Leicester City Council (the Employer) is seeking to identify and appoint a Contractor to provide a Road Restraint System service. The service consists of 3 main elements: — Planned installation work and repairs to the Employers safety fence asset; — Temporary Traffic management whilst the planned installation and safety repairs are carried out — this work is optional for Contractors to price and undertake; — Re-tensioning of the Employers safety fence asset. Leicestershire County Council and Leicester City Council (the Employer) is seeking to identify and appoint a Contractor to provide a Road Restraint System service. The estimated total contract value is 200 000 GBP per annum. The proposed contract period is 2 years with potential extensions of a further 2 years in 1 year increments subject to performance. The Employer intends to appoint only 1 Contractor to provide the service.
