Provision of Termination of Pregnancy Services - North West London

Tender description

The North West London (NWL) Collaboration of Clinical Commissioning Groups are seeking to re-commission a termination of pregnancy service which enables women within these CCG boroughs to receive high quality, efficient services delivered closer to home. This procurement will be run under the Any Qualified Provider process. The NWL collaborative is the working partnership between the following CCGs: • NHS Brent CCG • NHS Central London CCG • NHS Ealing CCG • NHS Hammersmith and Fulham CCG • NHS Harrow CCG • NHS Hillingdon CCG • NHS Hounslow CCG, and • NHS West London CCG. The Provider is required to supply a Termination of Pregnancy Service for any patient registered with a GP practice or are resident within the area covered by the CCGs listed above. The service will commence from the 1st April 2017; the contract will last for three years, with the option to extend up to a further 24 months. The contract (NHS Standard Contract as mandated by NHS England) will be procured using the AQP Process. The AQP is a single stage process consisting of qualification and technical stages contained within one document. Accreditation to the contract will result from providers complying with all requirements contained within. Central Booking Service The following CCGs are also seeking to procure a Termination of Pregnancy Service Central Booking Service which will be procured via a sole provider: • NHS Brent CCG • NHS Ealing CCG • NHS Hammersmith and Fulham CCG • NHS Harrow CCG • NHS Hillingdon CCG • NHS Hounslow CCG, and • NHS West London CCG. Please note: this procurement has been split into two LOTS. Bidders are invited to bid for the following services: • Lot 1 Termination of Pregnancy Service, • Lot 2 Termination of Pregnancy Central Booking Service. Bidder Briefing Event Interested providers are invited to attend a provider bidder briefing event on Thursday 8th December at 9:30am.
