Tender description

Direct Services Highways & Engineering Team tendered competitively to win the Northway Marston Flood Alleviation Scheme. The Flood Alleviation Scheme is an Oxford City Council project that has been designed to prevent surface water flooding in Northway. The Northway Marston Flood Alleviation Scheme will include roadworks, construction of a new spillway and holding ponds, plus a new football pitch. There is a large amount of Earthworks required with over 20,000 tonne of soil to be dug and moved within the site, which is larger than we could undertake in house. Highways & Engineering require an Earthworks contractor to work alongside us in completing this project. This tender is specifically in relation to Earthworks for the Northway Marston Flood Alleviation Scheme only. Keywords: earthworks, soil removal
