PRIOR INFORMATION NOTICE (PIN) Integrated Sexual Health Clinical Service and aligned Services

Tender description

This notice is for Prior Information only. Joint procurement between the London Boroughs of Merton, Richmond upon Thames and Wandsworth, forthe provision of an Integrated model of Sexual Health clinical services (contraception and sexually transmitted infections) across the three Boroughs. This service is expected to be aligned with the provisions within the London wide e-healthcare service to improve service user experience, deliver better sexual health outcomes and provide cost-effective delivery of good quality services. The estimated date of publication of the Contract Notice is 06 December 2016. The service will include core Level 1 – 3 clinical sexual health services providing contraception and STI testing,treatment and management within a sub-regional hub and spoke model. This element of the service will be paid based on activity using the revised London Integrated Sexual Health Tariff. Cross-charging for activities delivered to out of borough patients is expected. The service also includes the following aligned services: • Sexual health outreach, engagement, prevention and intervention service for STIs (including HIV) andcontraception for the vulnerable/at risk individuals and groups (all ages) (Wandsworth only) • Young People’s Outreach service (Merton only) • Management of Condom Distribution Scheme across (Richmond and Wandsworth) • Management and leadership of National Chlamydia Screening Programme for London (all boroughs) • Care and Support services for people living with HIV (Wandsworth only). The estimated total contract value excluding VAT is £42,000,000. It is the Councils intention as part of this procurement to host a Bidders Day on 14 December 2016.
