Tender description

EMPC is undertaking a competitive tender on behalf of the member trusts (full list can be found at http://www.derbyhospitals.nhs.uk/primary/pharmacy/empc/) for a Framework Agreement to provide the provision to supply a service for The Management and refresh of Emergency Response Boxes (Which are subject to a separate CMU tender). This contract involves the Management of Emergency response Boxes. Example; The collection inspection refill and return to collection point of Emergency boxes such as a Cardiac arrest box. The contract will involve the packaging of licensed drugs. Bidders will have the appropriate MHRA licenses. The current contract expires at the end of February and is currently utilised by 4 of our member Trusts with a 5th interested in joining. There have been CIRCA 1,900 boxes refreshed in the past 12 months. We are seeking expressions of interest from potential bidders in advance of us running the procurement process. The authority is not required to publish a contract notice in the OJEU for the contract because the value is below-threshold. The awarding authority has published a prior information notice on a voluntary basis. Notwithstanding publication of the PIN, the authority will not be deemed to be subject to Directive 201/24/EC, Directive 89/665/EEC or Public Contracts Regulations 2015 by reason of publication of the contract notice.
