Market Engagement Event Procurement of Orthodontics Services in Yorkshire and Humber using a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) NHS England - North (Yorkshire and Humber) NHS England - North (Yorkshire and the Humber) commissioning team, are hosting a market engagement event to discuss the upcoming procurement of orthodontics in Yorkshire and the Humber. We would like to use this event to support any potential bidders with understanding the new process for applications now that we are using a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). This facilitated event will primarily focus on, but not limited to: • Explaining the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS); • Application support ; • Expert advice from a procurement bid writer; • the Oral Health Needs Assessment for orthodontics; • Proposed lots for procurement. NHS England is committed to improving services and has an opportunity to improve, re-develop and re-commission the current orthodontics pathways. GDPs, specialist orthodontists and secondary care dental service providers are cordially invited to attend and contribute to the discussions, and help inform the future strategy. Market Engagement Event The event will be held on Wednesday 7th December 2016 at Mercure Wetherby, Leeds Road, Wetherby, Yorkshire, LS22 5HE from 4pm - 8.30pm. Hot and cold beverages will be available on arrival and an evening buffet will be provided.
