NHS Health Checks Market Warming Event Wednesday 7th December 2016, 1.30pm to 3.30pm. The London Borough of Merton would like to invite interested providers to attend a market warming event in relation to the provision of NHS Health Checks in the borough. The event will provide an opportunity for potential providers to: • Engage with the Merton Public Health team to understand the context for the procurement, including its challenges, intentions and desired outcomes for the services. • Understand the IT solution that underpins the delivery of the programme in Merton. • Identify challenges for the providers in delivering the required outcomes. • Gain insight from the providers regarding opportunities for innovation. • Enable organisations to effectively plan for any potential forthcoming procurement. This exercise is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process. It is intended as an awareness, communication and information-gathering exercise offering an opportunity for potential providers to help understand commissioning intentions and offer opportunities for potential future providers to network, forge partnerships and start considering service delivery models. This therefore does not represent a commitment from the participating local authorities to award a contract or issue an invite to tender to any provider that expresses an interest in this market warming exercise. We would strongly suggest that any organisation that considering bidding for this opportunity attends this event, to get an understanding of the service including the IT system that underpins it. The event will take place on Wednesday 7th December 2016 in Main Hall, The Chaucer Centre, Canterbury Road, Morden, SM4 6PX.
