Vehicle Escort Training

Tender description

HM Prison Service is determined to reduce the number of accidents caused by vehicles moving around the confined space of a Prison by ensuring that all Vehicle Escorts received the latest training. We require the development of a Vehicle Escort “Train the Trainer” course in line with HSE guidance on Banksman Training. This training would require certification on successful completion. We expect that over the period of the contract 128 delegates will undertake the course. We will also require development of a further course with supporting course materials to enable those trainers to train and certify other HMPS staff . A refresher course element would also be required. The contract period would be 3 years with a further extension option of up to 1 year.
