Tamar Bridge Toll Collection Services Contract

Tender description

Tolls Collected at the Tamar Bridge represent the major source of income for the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry Joint Committee (TB&TFJC). Collection of those tolls requires a physical presence in each of the toll lanes. This resource has been contracted-out since 1986, with the previous contract expiring on 31/03/2017 and a new arrangement is required with an initial proposed contract duration of 3 years ad an option to extend for 2 X further periods of 12 months. It is envisaged a TUPE transfer of staff would be necessary.
