Tender description

Abbey College, Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, is a large academy school providing secondary education to approx 1 030 pupils aged 11-18 years. Catering is currently provided by an in-house team. The College is looking for an innovative and committed catering contractor able to offer some investment opportunities to refurbish and upgrade the catering facilities and to improve the overall quality and style of the service provision and increase the level of uptake. There is a main-site catering operation with 2 dining spaces, plus a purpose-built 6th form cafe which also houses a separate meeting room available for outside hire. The College are looking for a nil-cost contract but subject to terms and conditions and KPIs would be prepared to discuss up to a 10-year contract to companies prepared to offer significant investment. Estimated Total Income Value is shown for an initial 5-year contract. Contract Catering services to the College — five-year contract initially with opportunity to extend to 10 years.
