Scaffolding

Tender description

The Contractor is required to undertake the supply, erection and dismantling of scaffold at Electricity substations within England and Wales for access to a variety of plant and equipment including high voltage switchgear, transformers and associated buildings. Scaffolding access will also be required for Gas compressor stations, Gas terminal sites and access to pipelines (including below ground level) across England, Wales and Scotland to conduct maintenance of compressor unit cabs and stacks, Above Ground Installations (AGI's) and associated buildings in accordance with British standard BS EN 12811 or equivalent, and following the latest guidance, currently defined in TG20:13 or equivalent and constructed in line with the safe construction guidance currently defined in SG4:10 or equivalent.
