PROVISION OF WORKPLACE HEALTH ASSESSMENTS - AWARD

Tender description

Sandwell MBC require a suitable contractor to provide a comprehensive health assessment service alongside the standard NHS Health Check programme for 5000 employees in the borough who are not eligible for the standard NHS Health Checks; 2500 employees in Period 1 (October 2016 to March 2017) and 2500 employees in Period 2 (April 2017 to March 2018). The Health Assessment will include the following: -Height / Weight / BMI -Waist and Hip Measurements -Blood Pressure (BP) -Assessment of dietary intake -Assessment of Physical Activity (PA) -Assessment of Alcohol consumption -Smoking status -The One you assessment and Heart Age Calculator and Lung age monitor tools will be used as engagement and illustration tools to clients. -Dementia Awareness All Health Assessments and Health Check bookings should be coordinated with targeted workplaces/businesses and the current NHS Health Check provider. The Contractor will also be required as appropriate to promote other Public Health campaigns such as flu vaccination. To be delivered across Sandwell in all relevant workplaces or businesses as agreed with the Council and the NHS Health Check provider. Closing date: 31 August 2016 at 13:00hrs
