Provision of Independent Fire Risk Appraisals, Assessments and Ad-Hoc Technical Support 2017 - 2019 (2021)

Tender description

Wigan and Leigh Homes is seeking a provider to conduct independent fire risk assessments and appraisals and to provide related technical support and advice on the portfolio of council housing stock managed on behalf of Wigan Council. The scope of the tender will consist of an initial phase of Type 3 Fire Risk Assessments (FRA's) for each of Wigan and Leigh Homes' related building archetypes. A main programme of FRA's shall then commence and be completed within a 12 month time-scale from initial appointment. The assessments within this main programme should identify fire risks within an individual property and be conducted in accordance with PAS79. This phase of the programme will consist of approximately 900 FRA's to be completed within a twelve month period in accordance with the requirements of the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (2005)and thereafter at defined intervals.
