Tender description

North Lanarkshire Council wishes to establish a single lot contract for the Provision of a Building Machine Repairs and Annual Portable Appliance Testing service for Building Cleaning Equipment throughout the geographical area of North Lanarkshire. North Lanarkshire Council's, Facility Support Services has over 3 215 pieces of cleaning equipment at approximately 325 sites throughout North Lanarkshire including tub vacuum cleaners, rotary machine buffers and floor polishers, carpet shampooers, hand held scrubber driers and ride on scrubber driers. On occasions, cleaning equipment will require adhoc repair work (including but not exclusive of, mechanical/electrical faults whilst an annual portable appliance test should be undertaken on each piece of equipment on an annual basis The maximum call out period to any ad hoc repair work is 48 hours from point of call.It is the responsibility of the successful tenderer to ensure that an adequate supply of parts is held to ensure that repairs are processed within a 48 hour response time.
