Tender description

The authority is looking to purchase a used pallet reach truck. Prospective suppliers must meet the following minimum requirements. • Must be electric drive • Must have been manufactured no earlier than 2010 (we will want some documentary evidence supporting this provided as part of their quotation). • Lifting height must be no less than 5,600mm • Must have a load capacity of no less than 2,000kg • Must have a closed height maximum of 2,500mm • Must have a minimum operating time on full charge of 7.5 hours • Fork length must be 900mm +/- 100mm • Load centre must be 600mm +/- 100mm • Must have electrical steering • Must have a rotating safety beacon • Must have a battery discharge indicator with operation hour meter • Must have a load wheel cover • Must be a multi directional truck • Must be suitable for use on a tarmac surface with camber • Must have a warranty of 1 year minimum The mast must be a Three Stage Free Lift The authority will purchase the lowest cost vehicle which meets these requirements. Quotations should be on the basis of free delivery to the authority's premises at Hanslope Park. Any Purchase Order placed will be subject to the authorities condititions
