Tender description
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England (Central Midlands) and Milton Keynes CCG (referred to as the Commissioner(s)) under joint commissioning arrangements is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver primary care medical services for the below Health Centres: — LOT1- Neath Hill Health Centre, 1 Tower Crescent, Milton Keynes, MK14 6JY. — LOT2- Broughton Gate Health Centre, Glyn Valley Place, Milton Keynes, MK10 7EF. NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England (Central Midlands) and Milton Keynes CCG (referred to as the Commissioner(s)) under joint commissioning arrangements are inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver primary care medical services for the below Health Centres: — LOT1- Neath Hill Health Centre, 1 Tower Crescent, Milton Keynes, MK14 6JY. — LOT2- Broughton Gate Health Centre, Glyn Valley Place, Milton Keynes, MK10 7EF. Details of the individual practice profiles are available within the ‘Attachments’ area on the Bravo (eTendering portal). NHS England is seeking to identify a provider who will deliver General Medical Services for patients in Milton Keynes under an Alternative Primary Medical Services (APMS) contract only. The successful Provider will need to demonstrate that they can deliver service(s) of a continuously high-quality and will be responsive to the needs of the local population. The Provider will be assessed on an on-going basis to ensure they deliver the quality required. The services must be provided by GPs and Nurses and the Provider will be expected to deliver: — High quality, patient centred and value for money (VFM) Primary GP services, delivered in a safe and effective manner. — Primary Medical Services including Essential, Additional and Enhanced Services as set out in the Service Specification. As a result of this procurement exercise an agreement for each individual lot will be established with the successful Bidder(s) for a period of 5 years. PLEASE NOTE: Approval (via NHS England's internal governance process) is being sought for a further 5 year extension. Bidders will be advised if approval has been granted prior to the ITT submission deadline. If however this approval is not obtained by the ITT submission deadline the contract length will be for 5 years only. The current contract(s) for the Services will end 31.3.2017 and as a result the successful provider is expected to be fully operational by 1st April 2017. Based on the current weighted list size it is anticipated that the service provision resultant of this procurement will have an annual agreement value as below: — Lot1- circa 270 858 GBP per annum (excluding V.A.T.) Additional income can be earned from the Quality Outcomes Framework payment and Enhanced Services Payments. It is envisaged that TUPE will apply. The contracting Authority intends to use the eTendering system in this procurement exercise. Please see ‘Additional text’ below on how to register. Please note the deadline to express an interest and request documents is 12 noon, 12.12.2016. Completed bids must be submitted by 12 noon, 14.12.2016.
