Tender description

Loughborough University Library is seeking to adopt a new Library Management System which will support a mixed print and electronic information economy, effectively manage its electronic resources including metadata and licenses and ensure quality of service provision to its patrons. The Library is seeking to ideally adopt a Library Management System that is offered by the vendor as ‘software as a service’. In doing so the key aim is to create more efficient processes and workflows, and by making these efficiencies ensure services are delivered in a seamless, timely and effective manner. The Library is seeking to enter into a contract for an initial period of 5 years from implementation with an option to extend thereafter if both parties are in agreement for a further period or periods up to a total of 5 years taking the contract term to a maximum of 10 years
