Tender description

The CCGs are considering the possible procurement of an Adult Community Physiotherapy Service for the population of Northern Staffordshire using a single provider route. The service shall provide high quality physiotherapy and offer a range of treatment modalities for patients with musculoskeletal conditions that can be provided safely in the community setting or within the homes of housebound patients. This notice intends to identify suppliers who may be interested expressing an interest for this service. The CCGs are initially asking for organisations to register their Expressions of Interest only at this stage to be registered by 30.11.2016. NHS North Staffordshire and NHS Stoke on Trent CCGs serve a registered population of approximately 502 000 people. The CCGs are considering the possible procurement of an Adult Community Physiotherapy Service for the population of Northern Staffordshire using a single provider route. The service shall provide high quality physiotherapy and offer a range of treatment modalities for patients with musculoskeletal conditions that can be provided safely in the community setting or within the homes of housebound patients. The overarching aims of the service are to; provide high quality, cost effective and patient centred physiotherapy for people with MSK conditions, Provide timely access, closer to home for physio assessment and treatment, Assist in restoring function ability, maximum independence and self-care, Deliver clinically effective treatments that reduce the demand on secondary care (acute) services and reduce the need for more costly interventions.
