Tender description

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service hosted by NHS England and is managing this process for and on behalf of NHS England North (Yorkshire and the Humber)(The Contracting Authority). NHS England are accountable for the provision of Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) in the Yorkshire and the Humber area and are proposing to commission an APMS contract. The service is currently delivered from Field House Surgery, 18 Victoria Road, Bridlington, YO15 1LQ Please note: This is an emergency procurement with short timescales and a contract must be in place for January 2017. The current service is delivered from Field House Surgery, 18 Victoria Road, Bridlington, YO15 1LQ. The practice has a weighted patient list of 8 317. Monthly payments of 56 288 GBP will initially be made to the supplier based on the tariff for core services identified in the Finance Model Template using the existing weighted patient list of 8,317. On a quarterly basis the weighted patient list will be revisited and a reconciliation undertaken based on the estimated weighted patient list in the FMT and the revised weighted patient list with an additional payment or recovery made as appropriate. The supplier will also be able to claim for enhanced services based on actual activity. At present the average value of this for a nine month period in North Yorkshire and The Humber is 35 600 GBP. Additionally a payment based on the Quality and Outcomes Framework will be made which, over the nine month period could amount to a maximum of 64 100 GBP.
