HAZOP study of an energy generating demonstration system (ERDF)

Tender description

EBRI wants to perform a detailed and systematic safety risk assessment of this system through a HAZOP study, which requires the plant documentation to be reviewed and modified for that specific purpose. Specifically, the work consists of items 1 to 5: 1. Modifying the current piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to include the trips and alarms as well as the load bank and a fan. 2. Improving the current cause and effect diagram to make sure it contains all the information necessary for the HAZOP study. 3. Producing a signal exchange diagram. 4. Leading the HAZOP study, including writing it up and providing a risk based action list. 5. Estimating the overall cost of the works required to complete those actions, as part of the HAZOP report. It should be just a rough estimate, considering materials and man-days just for actions with the highest risk rate.
