Tender description

The Work: Comprise new hard and soft landscaping in the vicinity of a Grade II* Listed Monument, including new public toilet building, paving, planting and bespoke site features and furniture. Form of Tendering: Selective tender based on bills of quantity, specification and drawings. 6 tenderers invited. 4 week tender period. Tenderers selected based on advice from MeiLoci Landscape Architects (Truro) based on recent relevant experience with the companies involved. Tender invitation date: 21st March 2016. No. of tenders received: 4 1 tenderer withdrew and 1 submitted after the deadline of 5pm on Monday 18th April 2016. Range of tender prices was £17,219.45 (6%) Tender Selection: The tender was awarded on the basis of price (80%) and quality (20%).
