Tender description

The Musselburgh Flood Protection Scheme aims to deliver the objectives set out by the Forth Estuary Local Plan District's Flood Risk Management Plan. This aims primarily to reduce economic damage to both residential and non-residential properties, as well as risk to the people of Musselburgh caused by flooding from the River Esk and coastal flooding. East Lothian Council will be seeking a Design Consultant to advance the Musselburgh Flood Protection Scheme through its option appraisal, outline design and approval stages, and then through its detailed design and final construction stages. The procurement will be for a Design consultant to progress the above requirement through option appraisal, outline design and approval stages through to detailed design and final construction stages.
