CP-1382-16- The Waste and Recycling Advisors Contract

Tender description

Devon County Council (DCC) is committed to continually developing its waste reduction programme by assisting communities to become more sustainable both now and for the future. The Contract will provide support to Devon local authorities and Torbay Council to help reduce their costs by enhancing their recycling rates and reducing residual waste to disposal, by providing a team of advisors and supporting expertise. These recycling advisors will work with the local authorities to visit low performing households and communities and give advice to those who need it on recycling, reducing contamination and waste prevention. The advisors will also assist in the office compiling databases, reviewing communications and attend at roadshows. The Contract will be for an initial service term of two years with option to extend on annual basis for a maximum of up to further three years. An open tendering process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 will be followed for this procurement exercise.
