Caretaking - Griffins Offices

Tender description

The London Borough of Bromley is seeking to commission services to carry out Caretaking and Handyperson services, as well as out-of-hours cover at Griffins, a centre for Deaf and Hearing Impaired children, situated between Darrick Wood Infant School and Darrick Wood Junior School. The 7 year old single storey building has two purposes, office space for the peripatetic Vision Impairment Service and Hearing Service, and the Inclusion Support Service at the front of the building. The rear of the building houses the base for Deaf and Hearing Impaired children with classrooms for group teaching., The building also contains a multi-purpose training room with kitchen and a sensory room as well as onsite parking. The prospective provider(s) will supply a service for: Securing the building at the start and end of the day; Caretaking Duties; Handyperson duties; and, out-of-hours intruder alarm cover. The services require Term Time cover, comprising 39 weeks per year, plus an additional 22 days per year.
