Appointment of External Auditor NHS WEL BHR

Tender description

Following the changes to the local external audit arrangements from the Local Audit Accountability Act 2014, Clinical commissioning Groups will need to procure and locally appoint their own auditors for the year 2017-18 and subsequent financial years; as well as managing the contracts going forward. This notice relates to the appointment of External Auditors for the Following clinical commissioning groups (CCGs): The East London (WEL/BHR) CCGs collaborated to procure External Audit Services (EAS) to start from 1st April 2017 up until 31st March 2020. Due to Health Bodies being moved to a new Framework in 2017/2018, CCGs are to take it upon themselves to appoint their auditors and manage their contracts for the financial year starting in 2017. NELCSU facilitated a mini competition regarding the requirements for the External Audit Services on behalf of Redbridge CCG, Havering CCG, Barking & Dagenham CCG, Waltham Forest CCG, Tower Hamlets CCG, and Newham CCG . The framework agreement utilised was SBS/16/PC/ZY/8952.
