Tender description

The domestic violence and abuse support service will form the hub of a system of activity and services aimed at supporting victim-survivors of domestic violence and abuse in Warwickshire. The provision of domestic violence and abuse services is central to the delivery of Warwickshire's Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy 2015-18. The Domestic Violence and Abuse Supported Accommodation Service will provide a minimum of 18 units of safe accommodation for female victim-survivors aged 16 and over, and their dependent children. The accommodation will be based in Warwickshire and units will be distributed around the county, with locations covering the main urban centres. The service will provide support to clients residing in the accommodation and resettlement support to clients in their subsequent move-on accommodation. Referrals to the service will be via the single point of contact provided by the Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service. The Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service will provide the single point of contact for all referrals for both support and accommodation in Warwickshire. The service will offer advice and information, drop-in services, outreach/floating support, specialist advocacy to high risk victim-survivors, specialist support for male, BME and LGBTQ victim-survivors, MARAC coordination, Sanctuary Scheme management and delivery of the IRIS programme. The service will be available for all victim-survivors of domestic violence and abuse aged 16 and over. The service will have an office base in Warwickshire and will operate a hub and spoke model of delivery to reach out to target areas and groups. This lot will be a combination of Lot 1 (Domestic Violence and Abuse Supported Accommodation Service) and Lot 2 (Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service). Bidders will be required to outline their service model. It is expected there will be additional added value demonstrated.
