Summary of the work Working with the customer and developer to capature and document technical and non technical requirements for a change to a web application Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length 5 days work package Latest start date 28/11/2016 Maximum Day Rate £550.00 Who Speclialist Work With Application Developer, Security Architect, Project Manager What Specialists Work On Application forms Requirements Engineering Skills & Experience • Strong track record of business analysis experience - particularly with requirements engineering for web applications • ISEB Business Analysis/Systems levels or equivalent. • Strong experience of working within a service oriented or IT system environment. • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, particularly with documenting requirements for non technical users and translating into technical requirements for application developers. • Knowledge of systems/software design and development lifecycles. • Knowledge of the project lifecycle. Nice to Haves • Knowledge of UML and standard analytical tools. • Used to working in a managed service style of workpackage provision • Experience of working on Government Digital projects • Experience of working with security based applications • Understanding the National Security Vetting process, having been through it Work Location Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes Working Arrangments "1 day with developer to get low down on the existing web application Forms and view the application 1 day workshop with customer to get the required detail around the requirements 2 days writing requirements and liaison with customer during that time. 1 day to make amendments to document after customer has reviewed. " Security Clearance DV Clearance Preferred. SC Clearance minimum. Can you confirm whether the 5 days to be completed will be 5 consecutive days, or adhoc days over a number of weeks? Intention is consecutive but subject to users availability. 2. 5 days worth of work for a Business Analyst requirement is a relatively short period of time. Can you confirm whether further work will be required at a later date? It is highly likely further Business Analyst work packages will be called off in this manner. 3. Will you accept candidates with lapsed SC Clearance? The candidate would need to re-obtain SC clearance prior to the commencement of the work.
