Who Speclialist Work With There are a number of suppliers working across the portfolio .Collaborative working is key as the supplier will be working alongside civil servants and other suppliers, including our client side partner. Business Services will operate at both a Portfolio level and within each project ensuring consistency and co-ordination of business delivery. What Specialists Work On The specialist will be assigned to one of the projects within the Immigration IT Portfolio. Where the Work Takes Place Metro Point 49 Sydenham Road Croydon CR0 2EU. Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements The supplier resources will be expected to be co-located with the project team-at either of the locations above. There will be a requirement for some travel to business locations across the UK on an ad-hoc basis. The suppler resources should be physically on site Monday-Friday (may involve moving between Home Office sites from time to time). Approximate hours are 9:00 – 18:00. Occasional evening and weekend working will be required. Work Location Metro Point 49 Sydenham Road Croydon CR0 2EU. Security Clearance Supplier personnel will be expected to apply for and be capable of gaining SC security clearance. A minimum of BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) will be required to commence work. Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience writing and editing copy for websites and services taking complex source material and turns it into plain English ensures text adheres to style and tone of voice guidelines optimises content for digital devices and search engine results advises on design solutions for simpler user journeys develops content plans and strategies for meeting user needs makes recommendations based on user testing, analytics and customer feedback reviews the work of other writers and editors publishes using content management systems liaises with subject matter experts to ensure factual accuracy works with product owners and business representatives to meet the organisation's policy and operational needs sub-editing flexibility to write to different style and tone of voice guidelines appreciation of responsive design and familiarity with interactive design patterns knowledge of accessibility standards understanding of analytics and web metrics experience of user testing proficiency in content management systems ability to produce site audits, content plans or proposition documents awareness of trends in the digital sector Nice to Haves Previous experience of Public Sector business change Previous experience of GOV.UK and the Government Digital Service, and the service assessment Previous experience of successful collaborative working as part of a multi-supplier delivery team Previous experience of working within Scaled Agile No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria Work as a team with our organisation and other suppliers Transparent and collaborative when making decisions and flagging issues Have a no-blame culture and encourage people to learn from mistakes Application of Agile principles Ability to add value Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 50% Cultural fit 20% Price 30% Questions from Suppliers Budget range
