Pins, Bushes and Machine Shop Services

Tender description

The Chief Mechanical Engineers (CME) department of Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) has a regular requirement for the supply of Pins and Bushes along with additional Machine Shop Services for delivery to Limerick Wagon Works. IÉ are therefore seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced companies to participate in a Pre-qualification process for the supply of Pins, Bushes and Machine Shop Services. All services required under the Contract will take place off-site i.e. items will be manufactured at the contractor’s premises and delivered to Limerick Wagon Works. Pins and Bushes are considered a safety critical component of a bogie and as such, any successful supplier will be required to demonstrate compliance with IÉ standard CME-SMS-009. The duration of the Contract shall be three (3) years with the option to extend by one (1) year plus one (1) year up to a maximum of five (5) years.
