Peer Review of Direct Payments Support Service

Tender description

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham wishes to procure a Peer Review of the Direct Payments Support Service operating in the borough. The contract will be awarded to a Disabled Persons Organisation or a disabled person with proven experience of and understanding of the requirements for a successful Direct Payment Support Service. A comprehensive analysis of the current Direct Payment Support Service will enable an understanding of the effectiveness of the current arrangements. The Direct Payments Peer Review will need to highlight strengths and weaknesses in the current system, as well as identifying current good practice, and produce a clear formal report with recommendations on areas to improve which will be used to inform future commissioning of the service. The review report will inform commissioners of areas for development when re-commissioning the service and contribute to enabling an efficient and effective new service to be established.
