Park and playground equipment

Tender description

Essex County Council has two play area requirements in their Country Parks. These are split into two lots and bidders may bid for either one or both lots. The scope of this requirement includes the: — Design of a music/rhythm/performance themed play zone. — Supply of the materials/equipment to fulfil the design proposals. — Construction and installation of the materials/equipment to implement/execute the design. — Arrangement of an independent assessment by a certified engineer. — Completion of appropriate land surveys, such as an Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) survey, prior to any excavations. — Provision of necessary signage for users to maximise the enjoyment of the play offer. — Provision of appropriate safety surfacing. A budget of £300,000 has been allocated to this project, which bidders proposals should utilise.
