Tender description

Leicester City Council, working with the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP), has awarded a contract for the provision of the LLEP Strategic Economic Plan for 2017-2022. It is anticipated that that the plan would help provide an overview and understanding of the: • Leicester and Leicestershire economy and its place within regional, national and global economies. • Geography of the area, key projects and connectivity. • National and European investments in the Leicester and Leicestershire area. • Key projects/ interventions that help deliver jobs, housing, inward investment and value for money. • Key industries seen as fundamental to the growth of the local economy. It is also anticipated to act as a source of evidence for businesses (and others) in and outside of the local area, that are interested in finding out more about the Leicester and Leicestershire economy.
