Market Engagement Exercise Local Healthwatch Service

Tender description

Each local authority in England with social care responsibilities has a duty to commission an efficient and effective local Healthwatch organisation. Herefordshire Council is seeking information from organisations, and groups interested in tendering, either individually or part of a consortium for a local Healthwatch organisation. Local Healthwatch will gather local people’s views on, and experiences of, the health and social care system. In this way, community views will have real influence with those who commission and those who provide services, about what users, carers and citizens need and want from them. This can help them to be more responsive to what matters to service users and the public, and enable the design of services around needs.
