Tender description

Automated Tissue Processors are required to optimally process the full range of human tissue specimens in a very busy diagnostic histopathology laboratory (90 000 blocks approx. (2015)). The laboratory routinely processes up to 600 histology cassettes daily, which contain tissue samples varying in size from 1mm cubed to 3.5cm x 3.0cm x 0.5cm. Therefore the proposed solution MUST address the requirement of processing the full range of tissue sizes. Processors MUST have the facility to perform fully automated, urgent, rapid, routine overnight, weekend and long weekend processing cycles.
