DELIVERY OF FOUNDATION LEVEL PROGRAMME OF STUDY & TRAINEESHIP

Tender description

Worcestershire County Council ('the Council') acting as the lead organisation for the European Social Fund (ESF) contract to support young people who are 16-18yrs who are not in education, employment or training (NEET)against Investment Priority 1.2 where the need has been identified by both the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and the European structural and Investment Fund Strategies, would like to invite additional new Service Providers to deliver provision until 31st August 2018 to complement and increase our current provider base. To meet need the Council is establishing a dynamic purchasing system ('the DPS') to identify additional suitable Service Providers to deliver Foundation Level study Programmes and Traineeships for eligible 16-18 year old young people, to enable them to progress into further education, apprenticeships or skilled employment aligned to Raising the Participation Ages. The Contract will be managed through Worcestershire County Council with sub-contracting arrangements in place to ensure a wide range of geographical areas. The maximum number of students designated to each of the successful Service Providers will be determined by the Council and the needs of Herefordshire & Worcestershire students and the local economies. PLEASE NOTE: Contract start date is from acceptance onto the DPS which will be from 20th November 2016, contract end date is 31st August 2018
