Tender description

West Berkshire Council currently spends over 1 200 000 GBP annually on purchasing day services for service users who have been assessed as requiring support and stimulation through the day. Presently these services are commissioned on an adhoc basis. The Council is looking to manage commissioning of these services differently with the introduction of a day services approved provider framework in the future. There will be a ‘call off’ element in the new commissioning process that will focus on need, quality and value for money when placements are sourced and individuals placed.
