Tender description

Daa plc. has recently completed a Baggage Handling System (BHS) and Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) needs study (hereafter referred as the BHS Development Strategy) that has identified a number of key baggage handling projects required by daa plc. pursuant to EU requirements for Standard 3 EDS (Explosive Detection System) for the screening of hold baggage (HBS Upgrade works). The BHS Development Strategy has also identified a number of capacity and asset life upgrade Projects which may also be carried out together or separate from the HBS Upgrade works. This PIN is being published to inform prospective candidates of potential upcoming tender procedures for the HBS Upgrade works and, more immediately, to facilitate daa in carrying out a market consultation exercise to assist in planning the procurement.
