Tender description

1.1 Leicestershire County Council (the Employer) is seeking to identify and appoint a Contractor to provide a Rural Grass, Hedge and Grip cutting service. The service consists of the following elements: — 3 x Planned rural grass cuts consisting of; 1 x Visibility Grass Cut Only, 2 x Single Swathe and Visibility Grass Cuts; — Return visits for top-up to Full Width Grass Cut (Provisional); — 1 x Planned Rural Hedge Cut; — 1 x Planned Rural Grip Cut; — The supply of: Tractor, Tractor Driver, Flail and Fuel for Engineer Instructed Day Works as required; — Temporary Traffic Management. 1.1 Leicestershire County Council (the Employer) is seeking to identify and appoint a Contractor to provide a Rural Grass, Hedge and Grip cutting service. The estimated total contract value is 425 000 GBP per annum. The proposed contract period is 2 years with potential extensions of a further 2 years in 1 year increments subject to performance. The Employer intends to appoint 1 Contractor(s) to provide the service.
