Tender description
Young Carers are children and young people under 18, who provide some care for a parent or other family member who may have a physical or learning disability, long term illness; mental ill health or drug and/or alcohol problems. The care they provide may be practical, for example household responsibilities; personal care like washing, dressing and giving medication or it could be emotional support. Both Camden and Islington share a vision that aims to ensure that every child or young person will have the opportunity to fulfil their potential, and that their families will be able to access a full range of services to meet their needs. The London Borough of Camden will be leading the procurement process.
